I've been here about 8 times now so I'm over due for a review. This time I got the maple tavern chicken, Szechuan chicken, vegetable chow mein, seaweed salad and shrimp egg rolls. All of the food was amazing!!!! The portions are big enough that my family of 4 will have left overs for tomorrow also from everything. My kids are 15 and 3 and they also enjoyed the food!! I highly recommend!!

Good food Ate here on numerous occasions and not Once have they failed me yet..not alot of seasoning which is great because everybody tolerance is different..I recommend this place

(since they speak Mandarin behind the counter).. I'm sure there is a (Mandarin variety of food they know how to make)))...but ....I like my tso's...There is a certain magic to making general tso's chicken,.. I try, but American Chinese restaurants r that best...

I lived in Hong Kong for 16 years and was pleased to find this little hole-in-the-wall place because it reminded me of the HK street food scene- where the food is good and the ambience next to nothing. I’m sure these folks are all Chinese and I wish they would lean into authentic Chinese food- almost impossible to find in NC. “Hibachi” is a type of small grill and is Japanese. It’s a completely different cuisine. If you check this place out stick with the Chinese food!

I ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp with white rice. The steak was tender and had a had a good taste. It was a large portion of food but only came with four shrimp. Update 9/5/20 I tried the Shrimp Lo mein. Good amount of shrimp and and sauce.

Best in the area- PERIOD Tender chicken, great taste and most importantly favorable- they are not skimp on the meat not vegetables ! Price is very fitting for the quantity and taste, very good value overall! Had to add this amazing teriyaki shrimp, and vegetables ! Their sautéed vegetables are top notch next to nothing in the area!!! Soo good

This place's hibachi is the best. It's delicious, generous in portion, and reasonably priced. I've been eating it once a week for years, and it's always consistently good.
